25th Anniversary

Sherman Gives Back in Celebration of 25th Anniversary

2021 marks 25 years of business for Sherman Creative.  As a way to raise awareness and give back to the community, we are hosting a pop-up style online shop with all proceeds benefiting the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.

Since our start in 1996, Founders Bruce and Carol Sherman have made philanthropy a priority. “For us, it’s always been much more about the community’s success – because if our neighbors and fellow business owners are successful, we’re successful. We’ve been fortunate to work with many great organizations over the years and are excited to partner with the United Way on this effort.” says Bruce.

“Sherman Creative has been an amazing partner of ours for years, and we are so honored that they are thinking of our United Way for their 25th Anniversary celebration,” said Bob Hannon, president of the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.  “Not only is Sherman Creative there for us when we need awards or marketing items ordered, they donate to us throughout the year, sponsor our events, and show up to volunteer.  We are thankful to Bruce and Carol for their long time commitment to United Way, and are excited to be working so closely with the next generation of the business.”

This past Saturday, July 17th, our staff could be seen packing bags of food during the United Way Satur-Day of Caring, wearing our Community over Everything T-Shirts. The idea that these shirts save lives, like they say on the back is not too far of a stretch. “The community has supported our business since day one and this is our way of helping to give back a portion of what was given to us,” said Brittany Mendez, VP of Operations here at Sherman Creative.

The pop-up shop, selling the Youngstown inspired “Community over Everything” t-shirts will be open from July 21 until August 4th, 2021. Get yours here: https://bit.ly/CommuniTEEbySherman

Below are pictures from United Way Satur-Day of Caring on July 17th. Our team helped unload, package, and distribute bags of food for United Way and the Youngstown community. It was an amazing team bonding experience and we are excited to do it again on August 21st!
